What's this about a Plunge?

Haven't you always wanted to don a costume, strut your stuff while a Brass Band provides the walk-up music, and then take a plunge into freezing cold water? 

Yeah, us too!

70 intrepid, big-hearted community members will join AOA on the Ides of March (that's Saturday, March 15)  to take the Plunge so we can continue to offer 230+ free or low cost outdoor recreation opportunities each year for people of all ages and all abilities.

Commit to Taking the Plunge AND helping us to raise $50,000 to continue to break down barriers to participation in outdoor recreation.

(Or... tell us HECK NO! I won't Plunge! And still support the event without plunging!)

Saturday, March 15th from 10am – 1pm at The DAR State Forest in Goshen, MA

• 10am: Arrival. Enjoy coffee and snacks. Change into your plunging outfit. Gather Your Courage.
• 11am: Plunging Begins
• Post-Plunge to 1pm: Change into something warm and dry. Enjoy soup and warm beverages from the Salvation Army and Northampton Kiwanis Club. Post-Plunge Awards Ceremony.
  

A Plunger's Commitment

• Fundraise for the event by sharing social media graphics, fundraising asks, and event information with your networks (We'll provide it all!)
• Email us a photo of yourself that we can use for social media graphics and general plunge promotion
• Age requirement: 16+
