Our recumbent trike shop is open for test rides and purchases of TerraTrike, Catrike, and Trident Trikes recumbent trikes. The Northampton Bikeway is just down the street from our shop.
To help us re-open as safely as possible with preventing the spread of COVID-19 in mind, please note the following:
- Test rides are by appointment only
- Anyone visiting or working at our trike shop must wear a mask or other face covering that completely covers the mouth and nose
- We will not be able to loan helmets for test rides. You can either bring your own helmet or purchase one from us for your test ride. (helmets are required for test rides of our trikes)
- Our interactions will take place outside. Customers may enter our shop only if needed to use the restroom.
- We will disinfect the handlebars and seat of the trike before and after each test ride.
- If balance is a concern for you, you will need to come with someone who can assist you in sitting down and standing up from the trike. Our staff will not be able to provide any physical or hands-on assistance.
- If you are feeling unwell or have been exposed to someone in the past 14 days who was feeling unwell you will not be able to visit our shop. Please contact us to re-schedule.
- We are not able to accept returns of trikes or accessories.

Pre-registration required. We will follow CDC guidelines. Masks must be worn at all times and social distance maintained. Group 1: Arrive at 11:00AM to sign in and get equipment. Activity is from 11:15 AM-12:45 PM Group 2: Arrive at 1:15 PM to sign in and get equipment. Activity is from 1:30 PM-3:00 PM
Join us for guided hiking with ice grippers and Snowshoeing activities at DAR State Forest in Goshen. Meet us outside in the main parking lot near the warming hut. Equipment and instruction provided by our knowledgeable and friendly program staff. We have two kick sleds available for use as well. Due to social distancing protocols, our staff can instruct participants and caregivers on the use of the kicksleds, but will not be able to assist in pushing the sled.
We will go together as a group. We will cover approximately 2-3 miles based on the group's ability and interest. We will cover flat ground, some gentle hills, and rolling terrain.
Funding provided by a grant through the Veterans Administration Adaptive Sports Grant and the This program is open to veterans and their loved ones. Funding is also provided by Mass State Rehabilitation's Statewide Head Injury Program.
What to bring: Dress for winter. Wear boots for snowshoeing, work boots or hiking boots are good. Hat, gloves, scarf. Dress in layers. Bring a small backpack with a water bottle and snack. Extra warm layers.
Important Information:
There is an accessible porta-potty on site. The warming hut is not open this year.
