All Out Adventures, in partnership with the Universal Access Program and the Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor is pleased to offer adaptive cycling for people with disabilities and their family and friends.
All ages and abilities are welcome!
All equipment is provided, but you must pre-register for a time slot by calling All Out Adventures at 413-584-2052 or emailing info@alloutadventures.org. Reserve a handcycle, recumbent trike, or tandem recumbent trike for a one-hour time slot during the program time.

Join us for accessible cycling on the Norwottuck Rail Trail in Hadley. We have an array of cycles that can accommodate riders of all abilities from stable, comfortable recumbent trikes to handcycles to tandem recumbent trikes to wheelchair tandems.
This program is open to people with disabilities and their families and friends. Seniors are invited to register as well.
Instruction, equipment, and assistance as needed are provided.
Pre-registration is required by 3PM the day before the program. You will receive an email confirmation for participation.
Participants may sign up for a one-hour timeslot during the program time between 10AM - 3PM.
Please let us know the approximate time you would like to arrive when you call or email.
Email us or call us at 413.584.2052 to pre-register.
The fee is $5-20. Sliding scale per session.
AOA staff will:
- Host a sign-in and registration table at the Program Base area
- Loan you and teach you how to use the cycle you have reserved, including steering, braking, and shifting
- Be available by cell phone in case you need anything while out for your ride
To participate in these programs, participants will (either on their own or with the assistance of a caregiver who attends with them):

Join us for accessible kayaking or canoeing on the Cheshire Reservoir. Instruction, adaptive equipment, and assistance as needed provided. This program is open to people with disabilities and their family, friends, or caregiver. We will paddle around the reservoir in a group guided by our certified kayaking instructors.
