Plunge for Adventure: Spring Fling

What better way to help break down barriers to participation in outdoor recreation than joining us for a freezing cold dip in Upper Highland Lake at the DAR State Forest?!

If our collective fundraising efforts raise $35,000 or more, we'll take the plunge on Sunday, March 3 at 11am!

The interest and support have been amazing!  We have maxed out our permit number and are no long registering plungers.  HOWEVER!  We would love your support as a volunteer or as a donor!

VOLUNTEER

Did someone say VOLUNTEER?!  You mean I can support the Plunge by directing traffic, cutting the hole, handing out warm blankets to plungers, signing them in, or collecting donations?  Count me in!

A HUGE Thank you to Greenfield Savings Bank, the presenting sponsor of the Plunge!

The 2023 Plunge was (an arctic) blast!  THANK YOU!

The success of the 2023 plunge led to critical financial support as we developed our new rental program and the expansion of our cycling programs to Hampden and Berkshire Counties.  THANK YOU!

Check out the video from the day below, made by Program Leader Helen Kahn!

Thank you to all who made the inaugural 2019 Plunge for Adventure such a success!

30 intrepid plungers worked together to raise more than $16,000 to support AOA's programs that open doors and break down barriers to people of all ages and all abilities.

Thank you to Harper Brooks-Kahn for the beautiful photos.  Check out more of her photos from the Plunge.
