13th Annual Kayak-a-thon
Raising Funds and Awareness for Adaptive Recreation Programs
for People with Disabilities, Veterans, and Seniors
September 22, 2019
(Rain Date: September 29, 2019)
A colorful flotilla of kayaks, canoes, and Stand-up Paddleboards (SUPs) will kayak down the Connecticut River from Sunderland to Northampton to raise awareness and funds for inclusive outdoor recreation programming for people with disabilities, for Veterans, and for senior citizens.
We invite our paddlers' friends and family to join us at our landing place in Northampton to cheer us on as we finish and for a cookout with live music and good cheer.
Your participation in this year’s Kayak-a-thon will help us to continue to keep our calendar filled with free or low cost outdoor recreation opportunities for people with disabilities, for seniors, and for veterans.
Two routes to choose from:
- Sunderland to Northampton (12 miles)
- Hatfield to Northampton (5 miles)
Your business can reach hundreds of people throughout the Pioneer Valley through sponsoring the Kayak-a-thon. Your sponsorship will show your business's commitment to improving the quality of life of people with disabiliites, Veterans, and seniors right here in Western Massachusetts.
