Current Board Members

Philippe G. Galaski, President

Philippe has been a physical therapist in France, Israel and the U.S. He was a service coordinator for the Personal Care Attendant Program at Liberty Resources, a Center for Independent Living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Philippe taught and led workshops on re-evaluation counseling for fifteen years, specializing in disability issues. He is an advocate for people with disabilities living at home and leads support groups for people with post-polio syndrome. Philippe is a member of the Hampshire County Disability Activist Network in association with Stavros, a center for Independent Living in Amherst. He holds a B.A. in physical therapy from the Ecole de Masso-Kinesitherapie de Saint Maurice in France.

Susan Crawford, Director

Susan is a management consultant to nonprofit organizations in New York City.  She was a grant maker for two foundations and an executive director for a management firm of nonprofits.  She holds a master’s degree in nonprofit management from the New School for Social Research, a certificate in strategic planning from Columbia University’s Institute for Nonprofit Management, a B.A. in French literature from Elms College, and is the author of Managing the Future: A Leader’s Guide.
